Deck and Cover Additions (Example 01)
Our client was after a rear deck opening off the existing living area to replace an existing failing deck. It was to be waterproof for use underneath as a patio, and have a cover over that allowed as much air flow as possible. The proposal was to overlook the existing yard including pool area and tie in with the existing levels and landscaping.
The deck was provided with a raised roof for air-flow and increased height, and extended out at the upper level of the dwelling. Stairs were provided straight down onto the raised and retaining grass area for direct access to the yard and pool area.
The proposal was finished with tile for a quality surface finish and stainless steel wire handrails to allow as much view as possible into the rear yard.
